Because of our love for kids, we encourage parents to do the best thing they can for them, which is to dedicate them to God. In doing so, a parent(s)/guardian(s) formally and publicly declares that they desire God's guidance, blessing and protection over their child's life and that they solicit the support of church leadership, their friends, family and church community, as the child is raised... the African Proverb rings true when it says: "It takes a village to raise a child."
